Eastern Michigan University invites applications and nominations for Head of the Department of Special Education. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Education, the Department Head holds a year-round appointment and provides leadership to 32 faculty and staff members.
Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Special Education or related field; teaching experience in higher education; three years of K-12 teaching or clinical experience; three years of administrative experience in K-12, higher education, or clinical settings; academic experiences and accomplishments that qualify for an associate or full professorship in Special Education.
Review of applications will begin on Febuary 1, 2009 and continue until the position is filled. The position is available July 1, 2009.
