Student Loan Exit Counseling

Eastern Michigan University is required to provide students who have borrowed Stafford Loans with information about their rights and responsibilities before they enter repayment. This online Stafford Loan Exit Interview session will guide you through information about your grace period and what happens next with your loans. It will help you if you have the name, address and telephone number of: the nearest relative not living with you, two personal references, and your expected employer, if known. You will also need your total Stafford and Perkins loan totals.

Note: Students who were funded by a Perkins loan will need to complete an exit interview in person. If a convenient time for the interview cannot be arranged, fill out and return the exit information package from the Student Loans department.
