Information for Faculty
Faculty are the heart of the Honors College. Honors faculty teach special honors sections of general education courses, interdisciplinary honors courses, and selected upper division seminars. They also serve as departmental honors advisors, work with students of special honors projects, and supervise senior theses.
The Honors College currently has the participation of over 200 Faculty representing 30 departments across the university's five other colleges. When they join the Honors College, Honors Faculty Affiliates make a commitment to support honors students and the larger goals of honors education at EMU.
