Each day in October 2008, an Icon is featured with a video, biography, bibliography, images and other  resources. The resources for GLBT History Month 2008  will be available October 1 at glbtHistoryMonth.com.

 

 

Rainbow Drive

Every Monday 10:00am-3:00pm

 

Grab a ribbon, button, or sticker and show your pride!  To volunteer contact your LGBTRC.

 

 

Kiosk Painting and We Are 10% and PROUD Project

October 5th 1pm at the kiosk.

 

 It is estimated that the LGBT communites make up 10% of the population.  At Eastern, we have around 24,00 students so that would break down to 2,400 LGBT students.  Help us set up a display of 2,400 flags that represent LGBT students at EMU.

 

 

Out in Art!

October 6th and 7th 10:00am - 3:00pm 302 EMU Student Center.

 

What does coming out mean to you?  Drop in and express yourself through art!  Bring your creativity and join us as we create art projects to display in te EMU Student Center.  No experience necessary.

Dangerous Living: Coming Out in the Developing World Film Screening

October 8th 7pm EMU Student Center

 

This award winning and moving film focuses on the global LGBT human rights people in Brazil, Honduras, Namibia, Uganda, Egypt, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Fiji, and The Philippines.
