Counseling Services

Our mission is to help students resolve personal difficulties, acquire skills to cope with life problems and grow in ways that will allow them to take full advantage of their educational experience at Eastern Michigan University.

We provide:
Individual and group counseling
Emergency services and crisis intervention
Consultation to faculty and staff
Workshops and educational presentations
Training and supervision to master’s and doctoral student counselors

All services are free of charge and confidential.

Confidentiality
Clinical services are strictly confidential within Counseling Services. No information is released without client permission except in very limited circumstances mandated by law.
